"Pinkman: An Sídh-Mór = The great fairy ill. This is a remarkable hill in the parish of Kiltoghert. It can be seen for many miles around. Like Sheebeg it is steeped in fairy lore, and many are the legends that are handed down about it. Compare Hardiman, Irish Minstrelsy, Vol. I, page 47. In the townland of Sheemore there is a spring well with the name Tobar d’Uisce Mhilis, sweet or pure water. "

"LSO: There are two very remarkable hills in the Parish of Kiltoghert called Shee-beg and Shee-more, concerning which there are many legends current in the Country, but as they have been given by Mr. Hardiman in his Minstrelsy (Vol. I, p.47) I shall not waste time to repeat them here. (106/219) "
