DIL: Mílchú n.f. (míl + cú) Freq. as npr m miluc hypocoristic form of Milchú, form which the gs. in O.Ir as ds are supplied. Thurneysen considers miliuc the orig. form of the name, milchú being an analogical formation from gs. milcon.
