Ní léirítear cill ar chéad léarscáil na SO agus tagairt dá leithéid níl in SMR. Ag tagairt do Ceall Garbain (CrC 173.3) don bPaorach, deir sé: Ceall Garbain. This is undoubtedly the present Kilcoran, on which is a cillin, or ancient church site. (Power 1932 71.31) Ba den uaillmhian é an tseanfhoirm seo a shnaidhmeadh gan cheist le Kilcoran agus a rá go bhfuil formhór na n-áiteanna dá ngabhann leis sa téacs do-aitheanta anois agus ón uair nach bhfuil aon fhianaise ar láthair eaglasta a bheith san áit. Is ainm pearsanta é Cuarán, mar is léir ar an dá shampla: (i) Mochummae Chuaráin (CGSH 149.673) agus (ii) Moernoc m. Cuarain (ibid. 151.767), nach luaitear comhthéacs áite leo.
